How to Serve on Board of Director
It takes a village! Our community thrives because our neighbors care. All board members are unpaid volunteers. Do you have what it take to become a board of director member?
Service-Minded
Board of director members all have a desire to improve our community through collaboration. Activities include fundraisers, events, clean-up and other special projects.
2-4 Hours Monthly
Board of director members meet monthly usually the first Monday of each month for about an hour in the evenings. Additional time commitments include monthly activities, organizing, set-up and clean-up, as needed.
Paid Membership
Board of director positions are open to all Mesa Oaks association paid members in good standing.
What do Board of Directors Do?
Promote Safety & Wellness
Living in the Mesa does not mean we live in a silo. Our activities in the Mesa can greatly impact our neighbors. Together, we can look out for each other and create a positive and stress free community to share with each other.
Organize Events
Board of Director Members and Officers help to organize monthly events for the benefit of our community. If you have an idea or have skills you wish to share with the community, you are the ideal candidate for Board of Director membership.
Shape Association Missions
Do you have a desire to shape how our Association achieves our goals? Then consider serving as a Board of Director member for a two-year term.
Introduce Helpful Technologies
As our membership grows, we strive to introduce new methods of communication and tools to fulfill our mission.
